Trip to Egypt and Jordan


Blair and I have just returned from a great holiday in Egypt and Jordan. What an amazing privelage to experience such different cultures to our own and to push our comfort zones to the limit. The ancient tombs in the Valley of the Kings, the Pyramids, riding camels, deepsea diving, climbing Mt Sinea and Petra at night were some of the highlights we will never forget. Coming from 40 down to -1 degrees on our return home to Lake Wanaka was a shock but one to adjust to quickly as the countdown is on for the Winter Games NZ starting on the 21st August.
